Dear friends,
As we near the end of our first full year serving as divisional leaders for The Salvation Army in Kansas and Western Missouri, our hearts of full of gratitude for the open doors and open hearts we have encountered over the past year.
Since moving back to our hometown of Kansas City, we have reconnected with old friends, met many new ones and are looking to the future with excitement and optimism for what lies ahead.
Despite the recent economic troubles that our country is only now just beginning to emerge from, with your help, we touched more lives than ever before over the last year. Thanks to the support of the thousands of volunteers and donors who continue to stand with us through these difficult times, The Salvation Army marches on, fighting the battle to give hope to those in despair. It is our honor to serve alongside you in the war against poverty, hopelessness and despair.
In closing, we are proud to serve a community that has proven its generosity and compassion time and again.
